THAI COOKERY

Monday 10 May, 5.30 to 8.00pm & Saturday 15 May, 9.00 to 11.30am                                        $50.00

Learn the basics of Thai cookery, including how to make those delicious pastes, as well as several entrees and

main courses.

 

FLAVOURS OF GREECE

Monday 24 May, 5.30 to 8.00pm                                                                                                 $50.00

Delve into this fascinating cuisine and learn how to produce classic dishes such as traditional meze, spanakopitta,

moussaka and baklava.

 

MEAT, STOCKS & SAUCES                                                   

Saturday 5 June, 9.00 to 11.30am                                                                                             $50.00

The class that has “changed the lives” of many! The basics of cooking meat, including the secret of getting that steak

just right, as well as several basic stocks used to produce some wonderful sauces.

 

COFFEE BARISTA TRAINING                                     

Monday 7 June, 5.30 to 7.00pm & Saturday 24 July, 10.00 to 11.30am                                        $30.00

Learn how to store and grind your beans, as well as how to froth milk and make the perfect cup of coffee.

Only 6 per class for a more ‘hands-on’ approach.

 

BREAD-MAKING II

Saturday 19 June, 9.00 to 11.30am                                                                                            $50.00

Our second breadmaking course, more advanced than the first, unlocks the secrets of making ciabatta from a ‘biga’

starter, as well as a sourdough from a ‘pane acido’starter.

 

SPEEDY SUPPERS

In this class, we focus on healthy and tasty ‘fast food’ for those with busy lives!

Explore a wealth of traditional British recipes with a modern twist, including how to make the BEST Roast Beef &

Yorkshire Pudding!

 

COOKING FOR KIDS I (AGE 6 TO 10)               

Wednesday 7 July, 10.00 to 11.30am                                                                                         $30.00

Learn how to make delicious gourmet pizzas from scratch, as well as sweetcorn fritters & gluten free blueberry friands.

Only 6 children per class for a more ‘hands-on’ approach.

 

COOKING FOR KIDS II (AGE 10 TO 14)                     

Thursday 8 July, 10.00 to 11.30am                                                                                             $30.00

During this session we will be making fresh pasta with a couple of different sauces and our famous chocolate and

raspberry brownies.  Only 6 per class.

 

COOKING FOR KIDS III                                               

Wednesday 14 July, 10.00 to 11.30am                                                                                       $30.00

Learn safe knife skills, how to make savoury crepes with an easy yummy sauce and classic crème brulée.

Only 6 children per class.

 

COOKING FOR KIDS IV                                               

Thursday 15 July, 10.00 to 11.30am                                                                                           $30.00

A brand new class for kids!  Learn how to produce a 3 course meal for your family, including Roasted Peppers,

Steak with Polenta Croûtes & Lemon Posset.

 

A TASTE OF CHINA

Monday 19 July, 5.30 to 8.00pm                                                                                                 $50.00

The essence of Chinese cookery, including the ‘velveting’ technique of stir-frying perfect meat, poultry and fish,

as well as several easy sauces.

 

BAKING SKILLS – NEW!

Sat 31 July, 9.00 to 11.30am                                                                                                      $50.00

Fine tune your baking skills so that you get perfect results every time!  We will focus on pastry making, cakes

and desserts.

 

FLAVOURS OF NORTH AFRICA & THE MIDDLE EAST      

Thursday 5 August, 5.30 to 7.00pm                                                                                            $50.00

A wonderfully evocative demonstration, focusing on the variety of cooking techniques, ingredients and spices particular

to this region of the world.

 

SERIOUSLY CHICKEN - NEW!

Saturday 14 August, 9.00 to 11.30am                                                                                         $50.00

We look at purchasing, preparing, jointing, deboning and stuffing chicken and finish off with a variety of cooking

methods and recipes.

 

CHEESE-MAKING

Back by popular demand…discover the basics of making ricotta and a variety of soft cheeses.  We also include a

couple of recipes with cheese.

 

GLUTEN FREE COOKERY                                 

Thursday 26 August, 5.30 to 8.00pm                                                                                          $50.00

For those intolerant to gluten and/or wheat or just wanting to reduce it in their diet, discover tips and techniques

so that you don’t have to miss out on great food!

The session price includes  a beverage plus all recipes and tastings.  We cannot confirm places without FULL payment

prior to the class.  Plenti Cookschool reserves the right to cancel classes if the required minimum of 8 participants is

not met, but will endeavour to give at least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation.  A full refund will be given or a credit towards

a future class.
